The MSC Seascape arrived in Galveston this month where she is homeported. MSC Cruises is breaking into the Texas cruise market with this deployment.
Year-Round Caribbean Cruises
MSC Seascape will operate seven-night Western Caribbean cruises year-round, departing every Sunday and calling at Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico, as well as Isla de Roatán in Honduras. The deployment expands MSC Cruises’ presence into the Texas market and reflects a substantial economic investment in the region.
“Expanding our North American footprint to Galveston and cutting the ribbon on the port’s brand-new Cruise Terminal 16 are exciting steps for us on our path to making MSC Cruises a household name in the North American market.”
Texas-Inspired Dining and Entertainment
MSC Seascape will introduce new Texas-inspired food and beverage offerings that showcase Southern, Texan, and Gulf Coast flavors. Guests will find a curated menu of Texan- and Southern-style drinks across the ship’s bars and lounges, along with five specialty restaurants serving a variety of international cuisines.
Entertainment enhancements include performances by The Lone Star resident country band, dueling pianos, country line dancing classes, and a Big Texas Sailaway party. These additions build on the ship’s existing roster of full-scale theater productions.
“MSC Seascape is arriving in Galveston with true Texas flair, adding to the blend of European style and American comfort our guests love,” said Lynn Torrent, President of MSC Cruises North America.
